Matters Needing Attention

1.Pay attention to the power supply condition of the component part. The high voltage part adopts centre earthing single-phase or three phase full-wave switching power supply.

2. Pay attention to avoid loading beyond stipulation otherwise the component part and the X-ray tube might be damaged. There is a temperature switch that is off normally. It will be switched on when the wall temperature of the component part is approximately 70℃.
3.During operation and adjustment, pay attention to the X-ray generated by the operation of the component part under high pressure.
4.The component part should not be used in an environment with flammable or noxious gas.

Working Environmental Condition:Temperature: 10℃~40℃ Relative Humidity: 30%~75% Atmospheric Pressure: 70~106 kPa

Transportation & Storage Environmental Condition:Temperature: -15℃~70℃ Relative Humidity: ≤80% Atmospheric Pressure: 50~106 kPa

5.There is a glass X-ray tube in the component part. So it should be carried and installed with care to prevent the tube being damaged.
6.According to the regulation of the state, the installation, adjustment, and operation of the component should be carried out be professionals with qualification.

Adjustment & Maintenance

1. Matters Needing Attention for Adjustment

1)Check the high voltage generator that provides the component part with power supply to see if it generates centre earthing single-phase or three phase full-wave switching high voltage supply

2)Make sure to switch off the beam machine or lay effective cover-device at the ray window of the component part in order to avoid damage caused by X-ray radiation during adjustment.

3)Make sure the power supply for the filament and stator complies with the index of them.

4)Check if the time relay and testing devices such as meters possess adequate precision.

5)No load of cold high (no tube circuit)

6)Adjust the filament circuit as carefully as possible to the proper tube circuit to prevent the filament from being burnt. The filament circuit should be kept below 5.5 A of all times.

2. Treatment before the first operation

The operation should follow the following procedures if the component part is operated for the first time or deposited for over a month before re-use.

1)With the tube circuit kept 2mA, increasing the tube voltage gradually from 50 KV to the rated voltage (125kV)at a speed of less than 10kV/min and keeping it at the rated voltage for 3 minutes.

2)Rest the component part for 5minutes after unloading.

3)According to the load characteristic diagram (diagram 2), the tube circuit should be half of the corresponding circuit of the tube voltage. The exposure intermittence time should be 0.1 second. From 60 KV, expose once or twice every 0.1 second then increase the voltage by 10 KV and continue to expose till the voltage gets 125 KV. (Pay attention to check if the X-ray tube works normally) The time between two exposures shouldn’t be less than 1 minute so as to cool the component part.

4)During loading, if the tube circuit is unstable, reduce the tube voltage (10KV or so) immediately until the tube circuit gets stable and keep it for about 2 minutes before continuing to increase the tube voltage to the rated value.

3. Operating Maintenance

Before using the component part, make sure the following operations are completed.

1)With the tube circuit kept 2mA, increasing the tube voltage gradually from 50 KV to the rated voltage (125kV)at a speed of less than 10kV/min and keeping it at the rated voltage for 3 minutes. (The rated tube voltage should be reduced properly after approximately half a year’s use.)

2)Rest the component part for 5minutes after unloading.

3)According to the load characteristic diagram (diagram 2), the tube circuit should be half of the corresponding circuit of the tube voltage. The exposure intermittence time should be 0.1 second. From 80 KV, expose once every 0.1 second then increase the voltage by 10 KV and continue to expose till the voltage gets 125 KV.

4.During adjustment, stop loading and get the component fully cooling when the tube wall temperature is too high (70℃). If the temperature controlling switch is used, it will be switched on when the temperature of the component is too high and cut off the tube voltage

5.Clean the surface of the component with absolute alcohol and maintain the component part periodically. Replace the insulating oil in the interface of the high voltage cable. Check earthing and temperature switch and make sure there is no leakage in the body case of the component part.

6. Please contact us if the component part goes wrong and needs maintenance.

Quality Assurance

1.The guarantee period of this component part is 18 months; among which 12months is normal use guarantee (the first between 18 months since the purchase day and 12 months since installation).
2.We offer free maintenance and replacement of the component part for any fault caused by manufacturing.
3.The customer should return the quality information to us within the second month after receiving the component part. Otherwise, the customer will be showing their approval of the quality.
4.We only take care of the direct loss of the component part.
